Amiibo are little figures which communicate with your Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch consoles and serve as toy's-to-life for various games on Nintendo consoles; which is to say it'll appear on the screen when presented close to the console and affect a variety of games in numerous ways. The reason I am talking about Amiibo's is because they are figures of various Nintendo franchises, one of which is Animal Crossing.
As said before in a previous post about Animal Crossing, I am wanting to create a character which has some similar features to these characters, one of the characters in particular I am wanting to look at is the Rover figure, a cat character from the game as seen to the right.
Having a Rover Amiibo will give me a good reference when animating the female cat character, I will be able to look at the figure from all angles and see how the head shape works. I think it'll be a good reference to have. Although the female cat character I am wanting to create will be different from the Animal Crossing characters, it'll be good to get something similar to look at.
There are overall 15 characters I could chose from in the Animal Crossing Amiibo series, however there is only one cat character, I could however inspect the bodies of each character for inspiration, however for now I will stick with Rover and examine how he is built as a character.
